Ole Scheeren
Architect Ole Scheeren heads the Rotterdam and Peking offices of the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA). He is responsible for all of OMA's business with Asia including the Beijing Books Building and the new Prada Epicenter in Shanghai. His area of responsibility includes the China Central Television Station CCTV and the Television Cultural Center TVCC in Peking. Scheeren has also supervised a number of prestigious projects in the United States including the Prada Epicenter in Los Angeles and New York and the Los Angeles Country Museum of Art LACMA.
Scheeren studied architecture in Lausanne, Karlsruhe and London, and was awarded the RIBA Silver Medal on graduation. In 1995, he joined Rem Koolhaas, and since 2002 has worked as a partner at OMA.
