The Design Annual will take place in Frankfurt's Festhalle, which is deemed to be the "grande dame" amongst exhibition buildings. By locating the event in this striking venue, infused with history and character, we wish to emphasize its exclusive nature and create an ideal setting appropriate to the special needs of the design scene. We are effectively combining the best of two worlds, that of professional trade fairs and that of fringe events: the perfect infrastructure of the fair complex and the charm of a special place. The impressive exhibition architecture is inspired by the grandeur of the setting and the festive nature of the product exhibitions held in the early 20th century.
